New Years Resolutions

Everyone has the ability to change and commit to something new.

A quote I quite like:

“Commitment means staying loyal to what you said you were going to do long after the mood you said it in has left you”

This should ring true with absolutely everyone and many promises you have made to yourself and never seen to fruition or completed.

The thing with exercise is the vast majority of people are chasing weight loss and the standard route is running or going to the gym, either being a bit scared of the big guys and fitter people and never coming back or absolutely wrecking yourself and being so sore the next day you lose the fun in it and also never go back.

Find your passion, whether it’s running, sprinting, boxing, kickboxing, judo, powerlifting, gymnastics, bodybuilding, calisthenics, kettlebells, parkour, rock climbing, swimming and so on! Pick something, do it moderately, multiple times a week and build up. Do it to the intensity that it remains enjoyable! Secondly you need to keep doing it till it becomes habit, to the point it’s as second nature as brushing your teeth! By this point, you will actually see results and that in itself is a renewed sense of motivation.

So this January, set yourself a goal and achieve it! If you need help, you need someone to push you, then get someone such as myself in to help and show you how!
