Energy Systems

Creatine Phosphate System [10 seconds]

ATP: Adenosine Triphosphate (APPP) Reaction happens where a phophate (P) breaks off creating Adenosine Diphosphate.

– Creatine finds a phosphate and takes it to APP to make APPP again. However it has to re-synthesize again.

(This is where a Creatine supplement works, it gives this particular energy system a new P, speeding up the process. Therefore giving you more strength so to speak, to push out one or two extra repetitions)

Lactic Acid System [90 Seconds]

-Forced to slow down due to Lactic Acid pain.

-Uses Carbohydrates as a fuel source.

Aerobic System [Indefinitly]

-Sustainable Energy

-Uses Carbohydrates, fats & Oxygen as a fuel source.

Extra Information:

The More CV(Cardiovascular) you do, the more mitochondria and the more energy you can create. A good example of mitochondria in action would be children, they are constantly full of energy due to a naturally high amount of mitochondria!

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
