Type 1A

– Slow Twitch

– Slow to fatigue

– Uses Oxygen

– Aerobic

– Endurance

– Lasts indefinitely

Type 2A

– Intermediate Fibres

– Anaerobic

– Lasts up to 90 seconds

Type 2B

– Fast Twitch

– Explosive/Powerful

– No Oxygen

– Anaerobic

– Quick to fatigue

– Lasts up to 10 seconds
